I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and had a useful safe in the wardrobe. The LCD satellite television, free Internet, and hairdryer were great amenities. The staff was friendly and very helpful, making my experience enjoyable. However, the dining options were lacking, and some dishes were not fresh. The location, while overlooking Jerusalem, was slightly intimidating at night due to the surrounding area but had easy access to key sites like the Old City and Lazarus tomb.

The rooms were clean and had a safe in the wardrobe, making it convenient not to carry documents and large sums of money. They may appear different visually from what Americans are used to, but they were comfortable and well-equipped.
Service
9.0
The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From friendly service to help with various requests, I was happy with the overall positive attitude and assistance provided.
Location

The hotel's location on the hill offering a view of Jerusalem was unique and enjoyable. It was convenient for exploring both East and West Jerusalem, and despite some intimidating aspects at night, the proximity to key attractions like the Old City was a plus.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was a mix of good local style dishes and some disappointingly stale options. While the local cuisine may suit certain tastes, freshness was a concern in some dishes.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered standard facilities, including room service, and medical and laundry services. While not outstanding, they met basic needs during my stay.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were comfortable, they had a lingering dampness in the air, and being on the lower floor with no view next to noise was not ideal. On the bright side, I did enjoy a fantastic view of the old city and the Dome of the Rock.

Location

The location was superb with stunning access to the East Wall of Old Jerusalem, the Getsemani, and the Church of Ascension. However, being in the Arab district could feel slightly intimidating at night due to the hustle and bustle.
Dining

The dining options consisting of yogurt, hummus, fresh vegetables, picked vegetables, cheeses, and breads were decent but could have been fresher. The prices were reasonable compared to outside locations.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very clean and nice, but unfortunately, my room was on the lower floor with no view and right next to the noise from the street. The service was wonderful overall, although they were friendly without going above and beyond. The location was excellent, with beautiful views and close proximity to important historical sites. The dining options were good but a bit pricey compared to alternatives nearby. The facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.

My room was very clean and had a safe in the wardrobe, which was useful. However, it was towards the street where noisy drivers honked every 30 seconds.
